Reducing the sweating to normal levels can give you a big lift in confidence and positively affect your quality of life. You should notice a significant reduction in underarm sweating within 2 weeks of your treatment with Botox®. Most people get a greater than 80% reduction in perspiration for 7 months or more, although for some it may be less. Very occasionally some sweat glands may be missed, and you may continue to experience some sweating from the treated area. This can easily be treated with a second starch-iodine test and top-up treatment if required.
