Oral Medication

There are some drug groups such as anticholinergics, and beta-blockers, that theoretically may help prevent the stimulation of sweat glands. They are also not recommended for long-term use, as they can have serious side effects, such as blurred vision, constipation, heart palpitations, urinary retention, impaired oral function (speech, taste, chewing, swallowing).
