Iontophoresis for Hyperhidrosis

Iontophoresis is a mild electrical current that can be used to treat hyperhidrosis of the hands (palmar) and feet (plantar). If used properly it can be very effective.
How Iontophoresis works is not well understood, but if done correctly it can have a high success rate.
During Iontophoresis the patient sits with their hands or feet in a shallow tray with a mild current flowing through it for around half an hour. This process needs to be done frequently to begin with (at least every second day, but once the sweating is reduced it can often be cut back to once every week or two.
This treatment is not available from Caci Medispa.
